| It's been a year and I have to say it felt GREAT to get back to my Z again. Thanks for watching it, Brad! I didn't have a chance to do too much yet but there is plenty on the waiting list. I managed to get my '99 tails on but that was about it. The clutch install will be happening when I finally get to San Diego in a few days. Here are some shots of the clutch that my parents have been holding for me in their garage.

It never ceases to amaze me how much of an upgrade the '99 tails really are. The left tail is from my last Z. The right one and center panel cost me around $120 or so on Yahoo Auctions Japan.

I'm having the Z shipped from FL to CA. Since I only had less than 3" of clearance, I decided to remove the front fascia. I also got her taped up and ready to go on the truck (open trailer).

It's a good thing I DID take off the fascia. I was already on pins and needles watching him drive it onto the truck (scraping the bottom as it went over the curve). Imagine how I felt when he forgot how to use the brake pedal and I saw my Z slide down the ramp face first into a ball hitch of the truck ahead of me!!! I'm so glad the fascia was removed for that. Luckily, it didn't really do any real damage. It just cracked the foam a small amount. On top of all of that, he failed to move the hooks/chains out of the way and and the Z got snagged. Instead of stopping, he just revved it harder and harder and wondered why he wasn't going anywhere!

Unfortunately, the truck behind me didn't fit anymore. This means I had to watch him get back in my Z, drive it off the truck, and then back on. I can't count how many times I had to listen to the bottom of the car scraping as he went forward and backward (over the hump) trying to line up the car. In the end, she was settled in and I locked the doors.
We just left FL this morning. We'll be getting to San Diego on the 5th. I'm looking forward to meeting TT.NET member Dustin tomorrow if we make it out to Katy, TX (need to look at the atlas). For now, we are crashing overnight in Baton Rouge, LA. Looking forward to meeting all you SoCal Z guys soon.

I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM The unicorn gets its revenge... -- Scotts94z32 on September 19, 2006 at 11:12 AM CLICK TO PURCHASE THE ZAMA STORAGE FACILITY POSTER!!!
